The Zeitgeist Movement is a global paradigm shift caused by the approaching collapse of the planetary biosphere due to Human misbehavior. The Zeitgeist is about changing the world to a more sustainable and rational common reality of freedom and prosperity beyond the dreams of the greedy and foolish. It will be totally nonviolent, (at least by the members of the Zeitgeist Movement), will take nothing from anyone, and provide a better and freer life for every human on the planet, all while cleaning up and preserving the ecology of the planet.
While it sounds like it, considering the deplorable condition of the planet and incredable human misbehavior on this planet right now, the Zeitgeist Movement is not an Utopian vision. It calls for no more than the difference between the lifestyles of the peasants in the middle ages and a modern middle class household now. But conditions are such that the changes must be everywhere on the planet, not just in a tiny part of it, and be ecologically sound. Only a good means can create a good end, so the Zeitgeist Movement requires it be done through the will of the common people, not imposed by anyone.
